With the explosive growth the New Tampa area has experienced, there has been a rush to bring on new schools to accommodate the influx of students. Hardin Construction was awarded the Prime Contract and David Nelson Construction was signed to perform the site work. These neighboring two schools were constructed on 24+ acres.     These joint projects consisted of the site prep and construction of sports fields and track as well as installation of nearly two miles of storm piping, over a mile of pressure pipe and a half mile of sanitary sewer. 10,75 sy of paving, In addition to the on site work, David Nelson Construction also constructed an adjacent park named Live Oak Park (not pictured) with 3 new ball fields for both community and school use.
