Perrine Ranch Rd. Intersection at Grand and Seven Springs

This project consisted of the complete reconstruction of two major intersections in Pasco County near Holiday, Florida. The locations were Perrine Ranch Road at Grand Blvd and Perrine Ranch Road at Seven Springs. The work included removing the existing 2 lane roads and reconstruction them into a new four lane divided roadway with new drainage, ponds, water, signalization, and other utility replacements. Some of the specific items of work included gopher turtle relocation, 25 acres of clearing and grubbing, 7 retention ponds with 50,000 CY of excavation, 49,000 SY of new roadway base and asphalt, 360 CY of retaining walls, 7,439 LF of storm drainage piping and structures, 13,806 LF of curbs and separators, sidewalks, new traffic signals at tow intersections, and water main relocations.

All of this work was completed while maintaining the existing traffic flow by constructing temporary paved roads and numerous traffic shifts.
